Fees and Insurance

Please call to determine the fee for the initial 45-60 minute clinical consultation visit. The fee for subsequent follow up, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology visits will be based on the duration and nature of the visit. The fee schedule will be discussed and determined in advance. Bills will usually be issued once per month and payment will be expected within two weeks of receiving the bill.

Dr. Blumenfield is not on any insurance panel. He will be glad to fill out any insurance forms but the patient is responsible for payment as indicated above. Dr. Blumenfield is pleased to see senior citizens but has chosen to no longer be part of the Medicare Program. This means that the patient can not submit bills for Medicare reimbursement.

The fee schedule for special forensic, industry consultations or special projects will be discussed in advance.

Dr. Blumenfield will be glad to discuss any of the above issues prior to the initial consultation.
